Points, levels & referrals
One point per dollar saved, level multipliers up to 2×, and on-chain referral rewards.
Points
One point per dollar saved - precisely: your save is floored to whole dollars, multiplied by your level multiplier, and floored again. Fractions of a dollar never earn a point. Save $250 at Level 0 and you earn 250 points; at Level 6 the same save earns 500.
Levels
Your level derives from lifetime points against fixed thresholds:

Lifetime points only ever grow, so your level never decreases. Genesis-era users and the people they directly referred carry a Level 1 floor - they start at 1.1× regardless of points.
Referrals
Every MORE user has a referral code. When someone signs up with yours and saves:
- You earn 5% of every amount they save (direct referrer).
- If you are the genesis referrer - the root of the referral chain - you earn 1.5%.
- If you are both, the two merge into one 6.5% payout.
Referral rewards are paid on-chain, at collection time, in the collection's settlement dollar (USDC on Arbitrum) - they are part of the same transaction that routes the saver's buckets, not an IOU. See Fees & the collection flow for the full split.
Example
- You refer Alice - you are her direct and genesis referrer.
- Alice refers Bob - Alice is his direct referrer, you are his genesis referrer.
- Bob's collection saves $100.
Alice receives $5 (5% direct). You receive $1.50 (1.5% genesis).
Referral points
Referrers earn points on referral income too: your share is rounded to whole dollars (half-up), then multiplied by your level multiplier.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard ranks lifetime points. Identity is opt-in only - until you choose to show a name, you appear as "Anonymous".
The fine print
- Referral codes are optional; a user with no referrer saves normally (those shares go to the protocol treasury).
- Self-referral is blocked.
- Points are not tokens and have no guaranteed value.
